2027 Solana Beach Race FAQs
When and where is the event?
The Solana Beach Triathlon & 5K takes place Sunday, July 25, 2027, at Fletcher Cove, 111 South Sierra Avenue, Solana Beach, CA 92075, in North San Diego County. The bike and run courses use Highway 101.
What time do the races start?
The duathlon is the first wave at 6:50 a.m. Triathlon swim waves begin at 7:00 a.m.; individual 2027 wave times will be posted when available. The standalone 5K starts at 7:15 a.m. under the finish line on Highway 101.
When can I pick up my race packet?
Friday, July 23, 2027: 3–6 p.m. at Road Runner Sports, 5553 Copley Dr., San Diego, CA 92111. Saturday, July 24: 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at Plaza St. and Acacia St. in Solana Beach. Sunday pickup is 5:30–6:40 a.m., including VIP pickup. A $10 late pickup fee applies unless you selected VIP.
When does transition open?
Transition opens at 5:45 a.m. and closes at 6:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2027.
Can I participate without swimming?
Yes. Choose the duathlon (run, bike, run) or the standalone Solana Beach 5K. Compare the race options.
How do I register and find more details?
